Pretty good night in the end last night :) met up with the jungle party guy - his name is Tommy and he's from New York which is pretty awesome! - and we went for a drink and chat at some of the bars along the same beach the full moon party was on. I was surprised how many people were still out that night considering most of them probably went to the full moon party the night before. This morning we had to be out of our rooms by quarter past 7 which was a slight challenge getting up that early for once :P we then had a 4 hour ferry journey back to mainland (sad to say goodbye to the islands) and after a quick stop to get some lunch we then had to go on the coach for a long 9 hour journey -.- luckily I had a good seat on the top right at the front with plenty of leg space :) it was interesting watching Thai drivers and vehicles, there seems to be no rules as to how you want to drive - they make the bad drivers in the UK look like excellent drivers!! We finally made it back to Bangkok and got to our hotel around 9pm. We then said goodbye to our tour guide who got picked up by her mum and dad, who we got to meet, and they were so cute! Had a quick group photo with her and then waved goodbye. Now we all have to be independent! It's going to be so strange and sad saying goodbye to everyone tomorrow - some are going home, some are off to Australia, and some are off to other parts of Thailand. Luckily I managed to book a nice hotel for the rest of the week as my flight isn't until next Tuesday so I'll let you know what it's like when I get there tomorrow :) E x
