Sorry it's been a while since I've posted something - trying to find free wifi is so hard here! Refusing to pay for wifi now, it's too expensive. So since I last posted, we travelled to River Valley to a remote lodge where there was a big fireplace in the middle of the room and we just sat around chatting and drinking. What a day!! So this morning those of us that stayed in a hostel got picked up at 9 and then we had the choice of 3 things to do; pay to see some geothermal activity in the area, go on a free walk through Red Woods or walk around the shops for a bit. I chose to do the free walk with another girl so we got dropped off along with some others and went for quite a nice walk. The trees were pretty cool (well as cool as trees can be). So today we were up and doing a short half an hour walk by 9 this morning (getting my daily dose of exercise!). After that we headed onto Hobbiton which was actually a pretty cool place. Definitely going to be watching the movies when I get back home! We had a guide who showed us around the hobbit homes and then onto the Green Dragon pub where we had a free ginger beer and the choice to buy a steak and ale pie - best pie ever! Well after an emotional and stressful day yesterday I finally made it to New Zealand - what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger right?!
