Today was bittersweet. It was one of the best days I have had and learnt so much but also, heartbreaking. We had just enough money to be able to pay for a ticket each to Phnom Penh, although it meant sharing a small curry for tea and no breakfast! The journey took 11-12hours on a coach which went surprisingly quick as I slept for most of it. We are down in the bottom of Loas at the 4000 islands. There are 3 main islands which are the most developed and where most people stay, we have stayed one night on each so far and prefer the second Don Khon- so will spend a few more nights here.
