Today we set off on another adventure or two. Firstly we set off to the main temple in the village which was beautiful all gold and painted to perfection. Next to the temple was the house of the former king/queen which has now been turned into a museum. We have finally arrived in Loas after what seemed one hell of a journey. 6am start with then a 2 hour coach ride to the immigration point where me and jord found out we overstayed by a day; we thought it said 28 but it really said 26th resulting in a 500baht fine each and a quick trip to the police station. We have booked to go over to Loas today for tommorow as our visas are up! We are getting a slow boat down the Mekong river with a stop off in a little town called Pak Beng one night as it takes two days on the boat. Today we went and explored Chaing Rai but it's so hard as no one speaks English so we are resorting to using Apps on out phone.
