We decided to go and explore the city and get our bearings! We set of walking in the 40 degree heat looking like tourists with a map trying to find our way around! We decided to go to a big shopping mall for lunch after walking around for a few hours, we jumped in a tuk tuk for $1 and he took us straight there. The currency here is real but you can pay in dollars too, very confusing because if you pay in dollars you then get riel change, I can honestly say I don't understand this one bit and that every person could just be ripping us off haha. Once at the shopping mall we found some nice food again and had a look around, on the top floor was a cinema which showed all the latest movies all in English! We decided to book for later and treat ourselves, although it was only about £1.50 each- a lot cheaper than the cinema in England! Later on when we went back it just felt like we we're back at home and I was suprised to step out into the boiling hot heat once it had finished! Now we are back in the hostel and have booked to go on a full day tour tommorow which includes seeing: The Killing Fields, S-21 Genocide museum, German markets, Cambodian Markets, National Museum and The grand palace! Very exiting!
