This morning when we woke up we decided to go to the next place on our list- Battambang. A quick 4 hour bus journey and we are here. Today we went on a day tour to see just a few of the many temples of Angkor. We started off by going to the breathtaking Angkor Wat; the main and most famous and beautiful temples of the lot, I can't begin to describe the size and all the detail of the temple. We have finally arrived. Again dropped in a city with nowhere booked and having to find a place to stay. But we found a nice English owned guesthouse, which has a swimming pool!!! This is a major thing as we haven't seen one since koh phagnan! Jordan is still recovering so after the 7 hour journey are just going to get some food and sit around the pool before an early night so we are on top form to sort some adventures out for the next few days! Unfortunately we couldn't make our journey to Siem Reep as Jordan became very ill with sickness and a fever. We have postponed our ticket until the 19th to give him time to recover and hopefully by then he will be well enough to make the journey! Looks like I have to play nurse for a couple of days! Today we have moved to another guesthouse still in Phnom Penh, we are staying very near the grand palace and can see it from our place! We are staying near a park which has water fountains and exercise classes outdoors,dead in the day then at night the place comes alive!
