We had just enough money to be able to pay for a ticket each to Phnom Penh, although it meant sharing a small curry for tea and no breakfast! The journey took 11-12hours on a coach which went surprisingly quick as I slept for most of it. Phnom Penh is the capital of Cambodia when we arrived it was dark and again had no clue where to stay or where we were; so we looked in our bible (the lonley planet book) and found a hostel called top banana! The place was really nice and had a rooftop bar and gorgeous rooms, we got one with 2 double beds and a nice bathroom...sold! Deffinatly nice to have some luxury back now and again! The hostel was English owned and had amazing western food, finally something other than curry or a sandwhich. Surprisingly we then slept for another 12 hours!
