Today was a travel day from Bern to Brescia, which can only mean one thing - PROBLEMS. The day started off well, noon check out, a Starbucks to pass the time as our train was at 13:30. We woke up today not expecting much from Bern to be honest! But we had an amazing day. Our hotel was right in the centre and was a 5 minute walk from the Old Town, a UNESCO world heritage site. The roads are gorgeous with tall terraced buildings, and shops and bars underground. We walked along the road and saw Einsteins house! Today was stressful!! We have left Strasbourg and arrived in Bern - eventually. Our train had a change in Offenburg. We had an hour wait between them, and a 15 minute delay on top of that. Halfway through the two hour journey the train stopped on the tracks and a man came over the tannoy saying there was a 'technical fault' and we would stop again at the next station where they would try to fix it. Today we went into Strasbourg city centre. This morning we went to the train station to get the train to the main station in Strasbourg but it never showed up!
