Today we had a bit of a lie in and left the hotel close to midday. We wanted to go and see the 'Atomium', a famous sculpture/building in Belgium. First day! It was easier and more straightforward getting the train and Eurostar than we expected. The rucksacks were heavy though! When we got to Brussels we decided it would be easiest to get a taxi to the hotel, so we joined a queue and waited. We got the craziest driver there!! He immediately told us how it is illegal to drive whilst on the phone, but you CAN legally play the flute while driving. He literally talked non stop in broken English amid loud laugh...
