We were absolutely shattered from yesterday's excursion. We went for a wander to the shopping centre for lunch/dinner and that was it!

Today we are off to Venice. The train was about an hour long and it wasn't too busy. We walked about 2 miles to the Basilica, where most things seemed to be happening. The pathways were winding and we were walking down narrow passages between buildings. Surprisingly there were a lot of bridges over canals! It was very picturesque but busy. Not a lot to report today! We had a rest day and went into Brescia, there wasn't a lot to do! I bought a DS console to play games on as we have a lot of long journeys and ferries coming up. Venice tomorrow!

We went to Verona today, the Italian town where Romeo and Juliet was set. It's absolutely gorgeous and I really recommend going. We went to the 'Casa di Giulietta', which is Juliet's house from the play. There is a gateway full of graffiti where people write love messages to each other. We wrote 'Elz ❤️ Pabz' as that's the extent of our romance. We didn't go into the house as it was too busy and it wasn't worth paying €20 for, but we did go into the courtya...

Today we had a rest day as we have lots of things to sort out, primarily our washing! We had a well deserved lie in, and then went to find a launderette. We discovered a massive shopping centre right around the corner from us, and found a launderette.
