Today we are travelling to Valencia and leaving Barcelona (sad times). We got to the main station in Barcelona and because of Renfe - the Spanish equivalent of Trenitalia - we couldn't reserve our seats on the train because it was a Sunday, so we had to pay the full price. Today we went to the Park Güell, one of Gaudí's most famous works. It was a tough walk with lots of very steep hills but we did it! Then we got the metro to la Sagrada Familia and had a costa. We got up at 4:30 and the taxi picked us up not much later. In the queue for check in the couple behind us had a puppy exactly like the Andrex puppy. Today we wandered around our area of Porto Torres and went to a small shopping centre. The town is really peaceful and everybody has been really friendly, which is quite refreshing after being in Italy where there is no customer service! We went to sleep at 8:30am... And woke up at 7:45pm!!!!! We needed it! We had dinner in the hotel restaurant. It was a €20 menu which was a good deal. I had gnocchi to start, Parma ham and mozzarella for main and watermelon for pudding. Then we went back to bed!
