This morning at Panzi we met the local african wild cat. It was hanging around to get a drink of milk, so didnt seem too wild. Although if we got closer within its 2m personal space the wild cat would run away.

We set off early for a day of game driving in our polo around Kruger. We drove to Satara which is meant to be the best sighting area before doing a couple of the nearby dirt road loops before heading back to Panzi. In 10hrs of driving we assumed we would have had many great sightings - this was not our lucky day. We found a group of people stopped to look at lions on the far bank of a river but even if we could have fought for a better position amongst the 4wds we wouldnt have seen anything from our low seating
position over the long grass.
