I woke up with a bad dose of the trots. I think I got a dodgy pineapple. The bugs I ate were cooked in front of me so I know they were fresh but the pineapple might have had some water on it. We all know water is poison.
Daz and I went for an early walk but it turned out to be a tour of the dunnies. The beach toilet, Maccas toilet and the incredibly clean Russian hotel toilet. I made Daz come back so I could take some gastrostop. After an hour to let everything settle we decided to go and look for a tour to Phi Phi tomorrow. I made it as far as the end of the street and had to turn back. Daz and Boom kept going and made the bookings while I went back to rest.
By the afternoon I was feeling a little better so we all went for a walk. I don't know how it happened but we ended up in a bar again. we had free dinner in the Aussie bar we were drinking in yesterday. Fon joined us again and it turne3d into a party in Bangala Rd again. As usual we ended up drinking in a few bars but this time we ended up going to some dodgy karaoke place just out of town. This was supposed to be the happening place but we were the only ones there. The girls got sick of Daz's attempts at Thai pop on the karaoke so we hit up a club. It was about 1am and not much happening, I don't know if we were early or late? We ended up home at about 2am and the loud music and doof doof had got my guts going again. I spent the next couple of hours on the dunny.
Today wew went to Phi Phi Island on a tour. we had to be ready by 7.30 so I only got a couple oh hours sleep and felt like it. The taxi was early so we made him wait till we were ready, after coffee. We had to pick up other people as usual and then we all rocked up at a house near the port. we had a briefing and handed over some money and were allotted a boat. We started at Maya bay, where they filmed the beach. There were sooo many boats and people it was unbelievable to see. I wish I could have got up high to get a photo. the day was spent just going around the islands and seeing the kind of stuff you have seen in pictures over and over again. The lunch was Thai and was really great. Cashew chicken, sweet and sour something and a couple of other dishes. After lunch we stopped for snorkeling. It was some of the best snorkeling I have ever done. The reef was totally dead but the fish were incredible. Soo many different types and sooo colorful. I would rate it as about the best I have ever seen. Last stop was at Khai Nai for some "lee laksing" . Everything was for sale including a visit to the toilet. It was a long day but I thought a real value for money tour and I really liked it. I just wish I had a water proof camera.
Daz and I both went all day today without a beer.
Tomorrow we fly to Bangkok. We don't have accommodation booked there but we are going to look around Khao san Rd to find something.
