Meiji-jingu is said to bt Tokyo's most impressive Shinto shrines.It is a reconstruction, since it was bombed in WW II but it is an authentic reconstruction. The kids decided they wanted to go to Disneyland It Didnt appeal to me so they went and I spent the day around town. First I went to Odaiba near Tokyo bay. There is an entertainment precinct there with a few attractions. The giant ferris wheel, Legoland and Toyota Mega Web. We left Hakuba this morning backpacker style. We had a hotel booked in Tokyo and no way to get there. I had looked into it and had a plan but nothing booked.
