Happy 4th of July!!
Its the end of whaleshark season so we celebrated in total Coral Bay style and had a huge party! It was planned to be a mexican themed night and It was Kates birthday too so that just meant we had to get extra supplies of tequila. Lots of sombreros were floating about and the whole town (which nearly filled one room) came down for some salsa and sangria! They even had a whaleshark pinyata! (how do you spell pinyata??)
We had to move our caravan one early morning, something to do with restrictions on the number of vans on one site blah blah, so we were moved into the centre of the shanty town formerly known as Kenya. So now my official address is:
Site 25
Megarooting Avenue
Kenya
Bayview Park
Coral Bay WA
I just dont think post would arrive though, especially as most of the street names in Coral Bay have been made up by the locals (which apparently i am now according to the pub rules)
Been hanging around Coral Bay and getting bitten by sandflies again, this time my eye swelled up until it was totally closed!!! Nice! Oh well, Ollie introduced me to some people who arrived when I was in Queensland and they are lovely. Liz and Nick used to live in Honduras so have crazy strong carribean antihistamines that made my eye back to normal. they are amazing! i love liz and nick!!
