Yay its my birthday!!

Woke up in Kiama and the girls gave me pressies - my favourite part of my bday!! - they'd made team falcon t shirts and we looked cool (maybe a little sad) walkign around all day in them!! Had to send it home though, as I just cant carry it around with me.

We all piled in the car, packed up our camping gear and ended up on Seven Mile beach where i finally went for a swim, the girls said it was more a doggy paddle, but they were pleased with my progress anyway, seeing as i was too petrified to swim in Bondi!!

We hit the road and headed to Jervis Bay where we were hoping to go on a dolphin watching cruise, but we got a little lost and ended up in Booderee National Park and it started pissing it down with rain. So we decided to just find somewhere to camp. Pitched the tents up at the only available place in Cave Beach, the car had to stay in this park 500metres from our tents so we had a hike in the rain to put the tents up. Cooked beans for a special birthday dinner but the gas stove kept cutting out! It rained all night long and I had to get up in the middle of the night for a wee but it was pitch black. As its a national park theres loads of wildlife around and no electricity, so luckily i didnt die, but a kangaroo did jump across the path and scare the crap out of me!! luckily that was on the way back from the loo to the tent or i would probably have wee'd all down my leg!!
