Another early start this morning but we only had to walk across the road. We were booked on the Gordon River Cruise. This river is famous for its still waters and magnificent reflections. Our vessel was a very upmarket catamaran style boat, it was only 7 months old and was very swish. Again it was a non stop food fest, but hey you only pass this way once. An early start this morning as we were off on a 9 hour railway journey. It ran from the coast at Strahan where we are staying up to Queenstown and was originally built to bring copper down from Queenstown to the coast. Left the North Coast and we are now down on the West. Drove through lots of forested roads in drizzle so our views were a bit restricted. We stopped for coffee in a small town then onto a town called Zeehan which was apparently the second largest town after Hobart once, due to its Silver Lead Mines.
