Saturday

Up early this morning to do some more washing before we leave tomorrow then a light breakfast before we hit the markets. We stocked up on tomato relish and donuts as well as some gifts for home.

After the markets we tried to find the Miners Monument on the Line of Load. We can see it from the Main Street but we could not find a way up to it. We drive all the way round the Line of Load before giving up (when we got back to the van I read that the only access is via a tour group). On to the shops where we had another Chinese massage and then back to camp to make sure we get the TV first - the Roosters play tonight.

Some reading and talking to neighbours filled in time before the game. While it was a good close game unfortunately we lost by 1 point so back to the van for another night in watching a movie.

Tomorrow we are off the Menindee Lakes.
