Before leaving 'Warrawong on the Darling' we made a point to thank the managers and let them know how impressed we were with there set up and future plans. We will definitely be back to this place

We headed up the west side of the Darling River to Tilpa and when we arrived had a drink at pub - Martin a beer and me a hot chocolate. For a $2 donation to the Royal Flying Doctors you can sign the wall and after searching for a place we finally added our names.

From here we left the Darling River and crossed over to Cobar. We stopped for lunch but decided not to stay - the free camp was on junction of 2 major highways so we thought it may be a bit noisy. Martin fuelled up again and I found a bakery and bought 2 cup cakes for tonight.

We continued on to Nyngan as there are good things said on WikiCamps about the 3 free camps here. We drove past all of them and there was just something that didn't feel right. It was nearly 4pm and no one else was there so decided not to stay.

We had another look at WikiCamps and there is a free camp at Nevertire pub. It indicates there are toilets but when we arrive there aren't. It's now nearly 5pm so we decide to stay anyway - it's a truck stop with one already pulled in so feels safe.

Across the road to the pub and the people there (both owners and patrons) we so friendly and welcoming. A few drinks before dinner and by this time we've been invited by Bruce to stay on his farm for a few days. Maybe if there'd been others with us but we politely declined and told him we'd catch him next time.

Diner was a delicious country pub meal after which I had a hot chocolate - mmmmm. By the time we went back to the camper there were several trucks pulled in? Considering the proximity to the main road, the trucks on site and did I mention the rail line we had a very good night.
