Day Two
Today I went on a boat trip to visit a floating market. I have never seen so many fish swimming around before. There was so much food for sale, from fruit and veg to animals such as eels and baby turtles.
Next I visited Wat Arun (temple). The steps up to the top of the temple were steep and very narrow. I had to hold on to the railing and pull myself up!
Visited the Grand Palace, this was stunning to look around. Such detail on the buildings and statues, amazing!
Saw the Reclining Budda too. This is a huge golden Budda lying down!
This evening we had a welcome meal to get to know everyone a bit better, followed by a night out on Khao San Road!!
