Hello from Bowen. Right we left the tranquilety of maggie island which was heaven and landed in Bowen. Bowen is the setting of a major film due for release called Australia. We got there and checked into a smelly hostel and found a man who could set us up with sum farm work. we were in high spirits at this point. that didnt last. we managed four hours tomotoe picking the following day from 7 in the morning and had made 20 dollars so we didnt really think it was worth while. so our week in bowen last two days and we were happy to be moving to Airlie beach. Bowen had the feeling that everyone there knew sumthing you didnt. it was horrible and the streets were deserted. it looked like a horror film and ashley was scared alot of the time so we were both happy to be leaving. Bowen is definatly sumwhere we should have missed.
