Right. haven't updated in a while so i'll try n remember what i have done. Just before we left cairns we did one last tour of the rainforest and went swimming in a few safe places where there aren't any crocs. we saw a turtle in the river but apart from that the tour didnt really impress. neva mind. So neways we got on the first oz experience bus of our trip and headed for Mission Beach. On the eay down there we went to a croc farm where they breed crocs for purses, shoes and belts. once you've seen a croc tho you have seen them all. there were cute baby dingo pups there tho so tht was cute. onwards to missino beach and when we got there we were staying in a treehouse owned by the YHA and it was 6km outside mission beach which was lovely and meant we had a break from it all. it was set in the rainforest and you'll c the photos of it when i can upload them. There were geckos and spiders and huge bugs and stuff all over. there were only a few people staying there so we knew everyone and it was a good laugh. the hostel offered a free bus service to the shops that ran 4 times a day. me and ash got offered the chance to drive it for two days and get sum money and free accomadation. the novelty wore off straight away. we were just getting all calmed down from the rush of a city like cairns when i found myself doing a skydive. we went to enquire about prices and stuff and fourty mins later i was on a plane. the woman running the hostel used to run the skydive company so we got a free t shirt and stuff. The skydive was incredible. we freefall for 60 seconds then get to parachute down and land on the beach. the sky was so clear and u could see the reef and everything. definatly the best thing i have done here so far. after that we fell back into doing nothing but walking along a beach and longing by the pool which we had pretty much both to ourselves all the time. so we stayed in mission beach for a week and then it was off to magnetic island. speak to you soon.
