Today is the free entry day for the Uffizi lMuseum which opens at 8:15am so we decide we are going to get there around 8am as we approach the line up is already 3 blocks long, quickly get into line and wait for it to open. It was fairly quick to get in and before we enter we look at the line which extends 6-7 blocks long thank goodness we came early. Again some of the most beautiful paintings from well known artists, we visited for 1.5 hours and did not see it all. No more museums for a while, now we are going to get out there and explore the city. We had several heavy downpours of rain, just like back home and we are waiting for the blue sky we see on the horizon to arrive before we head out again.
