Hi all, the last post was written just as I got into wellington. So after a quick bite to eat and a shower it was out on the town to see what wellington had to offer. We had to be on the coach at 7 in the morning so it was suggested that we go out drinking, watch the football at 4am then jump on the coach. Well we almost made it but decided to return to the hostel at 5am as one of us (lee) fell asleep in the kabab shop at 4ish. So after 1 hour sleep we was back up to catch the coach to the ferry for the 3 hour crossing to the south island. Once on the ferry and after finding the reclining seats so we could sleep, lee passed out on the floor for the crossing, extremely funny especially as we covered him in news paper so he looked the part. On the south island it was back on the coach to nelson for the night. A quite day as we were all tired from the night before. After nelson we moved on to a quite town where nothing happened as it was sunday. Monday morning it was time to go to a pub that we was staying at as it is run by the oldest landlord in new zealand. That night was fancy dress night with the theme being bin liners, a top night as it turned out. Amazing what you can make with bin liners and a few bits. Then we moved onto franz joesph via some possum muesum. Upon arriving we payed for our day hiking on the glazier which we are doing tomorrow, then I decided to go on a 2 hour hike to wombat lake, although the lake was not that good but never mind.
