...Boat trip round island: Snorkelling. Champagne & Oysters. Red Snapper. FULL MOON PARTY...
Woke up this morning really excited as its the Full Moon Party tonight.
I spent the day on a boat trip around the Island. We went snorkeling and I saw some amazing fish plus some brilliant coral and sea plants. There were brilliant electric blue fish, some that looked like Angel fish, plus loads others.
We got to see Bottle Beach, Thong Nai Pan, Than Sadet and Koh Ma whilst tanning on the top deck of the boat. They also included fishing on the trip although hardly anyone caught anything. The food they served was lovely and I got to try Red Snapper. Plus we had Oysters and Champagne. I randomly met some people from Hornchurch (5 minutes from where I live back at home) and had a really good time.
I got back to the hotel in the early evening and the boys from Amsterdam treated me to dinner, which was really nice of them. They're a really nice group of blokes and I was so pleased to be going to the Full Moon Party with them as they're a great laugh and into the same music.
The party was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was fantastic. We started off at Zoom for a bit of psytrance, which was brilliant and then headed down from there hearing breaks drum and bass, trance and loads more as we went. There wasn't as many fire performers as the beach was realy busy but one bloke doing staff performed in a ring of fire that looked absolutely amazing.
There were also fireworks and huge chinese lanterns being let off down the beach. A couple of the lads bought rubber masks which were realy funny and really freaked out the Thai women, their reaction was priceless. Arnold and me partied until the sun came up and it was brilliant bringing in a new day dancing on the beach to psytrance back at the Zoom Bar. Was an amazing event and something I'm never going to forget.
