Didier Moutia's Travels
Making the move to Litchfield Tourist Park was the best idea. The place was great and the breakfast this morning was awesome. Wish we stayed there the night before.
We went back through Adelaide River this morning as we headed to Kakadu. A few days ago we stopped at Adelaide River and looked through the museum there. Today we decided to visit the WWII cemetery. Dad thinks this is quite fitting given Monday is ANZAC Day.
The cemetery was great to visit. It is so well maintained. Dad explained how this part of Australia was attacked in WWII. It is hard for us kids to understand what happened but we appreciate what the soldiers did for us to protect Australia.
We finally got to Kakadu. It is such a large National Park. It took over an hour to get from the entrance to our resort. Once we got there we were so excited. The place is amazing! The pool is so cool, it looks like a natural rock pool with a waterfall. We also caught up with some new friends we met at Litchfield, a boy and girl from Tasmania. We spent a few hours swimming and playing.
Tonight we are watching Anchor Man in our camper. On our travels dad found the DVD Box set for Anchor Man I and II. Mum tried to not let us buy it but dad would not allow us to leave the supermarket without it. Tonight we are watching it for like the 10th time. All us boys love it. Mum not so much!
Tomorrow we are planning to do a cultural tour and a sunset cruise.
