Bit of a sleep in this morning. We got up at 7:30 and soon went to Katherine Gorge. We took the two gorge tour. The boat tour is the best way to see the gorge. Definitely beats walking! The gorge was beautiful but my highlight of the tour was seeing two fresh water crocodiles. One crocodile was lying on the river bank. The other one mum actually saw and the tour boat turned around to look at it. The croc mum saw was sitting in shallow water just below a tree wait...

Staying at Mataranka Homestead is the bomb. We woke up, had breakfast and had to walk a whole 50 metres to the hot springs. This place is AWESOME. We spent 4 hours swimming at the hot springs and only stopped briefly for some lunch. After spending all morning at Mataranka we hit the road for Katherine.
