Well today was the day we said farewell to pazz and Jill (or so we thought). It was a lazy morning where not much was done at all then we decided to drive to leamington spa and have a look around and pazz and Jill could catch their train from there on their journey back to the isle of man. Leamington spa is certainly a reflection of two completely different social circles living very close together. It was quite obvious that there was extremely wealthy people and people who were struggling to make ends meet - this was really obvious once you crossed the railway line which seemed to separate the two 'classes'. We had a lovely lunch at cafe rouge and then it was time to take pazz and Jill to the station and then head back to badby. On the way back we stopped at tescos - once again another place where differing levels of wealth or lack of is so apparent and there is a lot of very very young mothers :(
One last stop before going home was to fawsley church and hall - absolutely amazing - the church has been around since 1200 and is sitting on a hill surrounded by absolutely nothing except hills and sheep - just mind blowing!!!
It was then back to badby to just crash in preparation for our drive to York the next day.
After having a couple of farewell drinks with the locals that we had become friendly with, it was dinner time. Chicken fajitas and midsomer murders - pretty good finish for the day and for our week in badby. Tomorrow the next chapter of our adventure begins!!!
