Arrival in Victor Harbor in the afternoon on Australia Day...
As the name implies, this little place sits on the edge of the water. Quite a cute little town, clearly driven mainly by tourism - it's two key features being its local tram, established since the late 1800s. Whilst it does run on rails, it is horse-powered (and they do take it in turns, there is not just the one horse!). The other significant attraction is Granite Island, which is sanctuary to Little Penguins who go there at sunset after a day's fishing to rest for the night, before heading out again in the morning.
On the way to Victor Harbor (just under 100km from Adelaide), we passed a pack of Alpacas grazing in a field...
