It's 25th and we've now made it to Adelaide (in the scheme of things slightly backtracked as we've gone from GMT+10 to GMT+9.5. I think that is a really weird concept to go in half-hour time zones really.
Sydney was awesome, would go back there. Adelaide... well on arrival it was hot (about 33deg), and we were met by an 'old school' chauffeur with proper uniform and hat. Nice ride, though we didn't really look the part.
Fortunately for us, the clouds came in a bit for the afternoon so it cooled a bit for us to walk around relatively comfortably. In short there's not a lot going for Adelaide - by the looks of it it's mainly a convention / business functions town, and also host to quite a few major sporting events which is probably where the city makes all its money.
We're due to drive out tomorrow, I think probably a good thing as I'm not sure what more we could really visit here - short drive, about 88km, to take us to a place called Victor Harbor. If we get to internet, we'll tell you about that one tomorrow!
In anticipation for tomorrow... HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
