Wind and rain... This morning's weather wasn't much better and so another pass on kayaking on Lake Wanaka. After a pancake breakfast in town, we headed for the relatively short (but winding) Crown Range route to Queenstown. Started fine but the rain soon set in, and plenty of big trucks to splash us too.

Quiet afternoon and evening wondering round the town centre, late lunch down a little side road called Cow Lane and ate a pizza at "The Cow" - effectively we assume an old converted cow shed, still full of character - you might get to see a photo of this.

For tomorrow... let's wait and see, but hoping to get a horse ride in there somewhere as we are in Lord of the Rings scenery around here!
