Hills and water today - a long drive across the south alps all the way to Greymouth (which sits at the mouth of the Grey River!!!).

This now puts us on the West coast - weather still hot, though the hotel pool was freezing so settled for a dip in the bubbly hot tub instead.

On the way here, a slight detour took us to a place known as the Pancake Rocks - you best look it up for the full geological history, quite interesting - the sea effectively made them over time, erodes them so they become free standing and then they slowly crumble away...

Oh whilst i remember, last night we had a good pub dinner at a place called The Honest Lawyer - hmmmmm interesting name. But good food, and huge portion of chips ;-)
