We have been at Mission Beach for 5 days now and the weather has only been good for a couple of those days but we have kept ourselves busy with day trips and tours around the area.

We went to Paronella Park which was absolutely fantatic,so beautiful and the pictures will not do it justice.It is hard to believe that just one man built the whole garden and all the building himself.

We went to Mamu canopy rainforest walk which was also beautiful.The treetop walk went for about 500metres and looked all over the hinterland,it was amazing.

Yesterday we went for a tour through the Tully sugar mill and watched how sugar was made from sugar cane into raw sugar. It was very noisy and smelly but also very interesting.

The weather has turned crap today so we are having a rest day before heading off to Cairns for a week.We are staying at Lake Placid caravan park,have got no idea what it is like so hope it will be ok.
