We are now at Ti-Tree which is virtually just a roadhouse about 200km north of Alice Springs. We stayed at a cattle station called Banka Banka Station which was lovely, there were about 30 other caravans there all camped in like a big circle and it had a lovely family atmosphere about it,there were kids playing and dogs running around on the grass. In the afternoon the station owners wife opened up the kiosk and sold fresh baked scones, sausage rolls and muffins and at night they lit a big fire that everyone could sit around. They didn't supply power but they had water and showers and toilets, which was all we needed, and it was a chance for us to try out our battery pack which worked beautifully,we had lights,a frige and a stove, what more could you want..
We are heading off to Alice Springs tommorrow and we wiil probably stay a few days and catch up with some washing and get another spare tyre for the van.
We saw the funniest thing on the road the day before yesterday,it was a trike with 4 people on it, there was one adult riding it and it looked like 2 kids either side of him and i in front of him,we dont know if it is legal or not but it looked hysterical, we also saw a mini towing a teardrop caravan which also looked pretty cute.

Yanne Dave, I'm excited for all of you sulohd be great fun! It's redundant to say quick drive for any automobilistic activity in Italy. And honestly, you don't need 3 trousers on this trip. While in Rome, I expect you'll visit the Vatican, smallest country in the world, and, inch for square inch, the most powerful. After soaking in all the opulence there, maybe you can help me understand how they reconcile their vast holdings with Jesus' advice to the rich man ( give all you own to the poor and follow me ). Happy Travels!
