Adventures of a Global Wanderer
Having returned from my day trip to Turku this was my last night in Helsinki and Finland. I wanted to walk back to market square to scout out where to get the ferry to Tallin Estonia tomorrow.
Heading toward the ferry terminal I found the indoor market common in many European cities. They were closing up for the day but selling hams, cheeses, fish produce and other items.
Back in the hotel they had been showing double episodes of Uk soap Emmerdale at 6pm which I haven't seen in years. Last nite there was also a strange Finnish tv movie from the late 80s starring British actress Kate O'Mara as a whimpering accomplish to a serial killer. Tonites entertainment was the David Hasselhoff show, which appears to be very popular here.
