Ok so I have not updated this for a while!! But have been living in Melbourne and having so much fun have not really had time, plus have not had that many travelling stories to write about as have been in St Kilda the whole time! Last time I wrote to you I think it was just before my birthday?? Not sure if that is right but I will start from there! So couple of days before my birthday we headed off to this massive house on the beach in Dromana - was fantastic!! ...

So I have almost come full circle and am back in Melbourne. Me and Kate started off staying in the city at the same hostel that I was in before - The Greenhouse, but we soon moved down to St Kilda near the beaches! We are now in an apartment with three lovely irish girls and some bed bugs too! which are not nice! Once again I have bites all over!! Looking so attractive right now!! So we arrived at Gilligans in Cairns and felt like we had just checked into a 5 star hotel in comparison to where we had stayed previously! Was very nice! Had a nice chill out in our lovely room and then headed to bar for a bottle of wine before dinner, which was a bad move!! When we finally made it out for dinner at the only place still left open at that time of night Kate and I could not stop giggling!! Had a fantastic meal at a really friendly Italian restaura...

So we arrived in Misson beach, where it was still pouring!! Met Kate at the bus stop and headed to Scottys, where we met up with the rest of the guys who travelled by car. Went to local bar for some dinner and decided that we would leave for Cairns the following day as the weather was shocking! So we I left Airlee beach in the car along with Jonna, Benny, Soph and Rach and headed up to Townsville, where we were going to get the ferry straight across to Magnetic Island. Met Kate and jumped on the ferry and then had a very chilled evening at base backpackers. Lots of wildlife around which was a little scary but the views were unbelievable!
