After a long long drive from Cooper Pedy we arrived in Yulara the headquaters for Uluru and Kata Tjuta national park. We were able to see Uluru as we were getting closer to the park. The next morning we were up really really early in order to watch the sunrise at Uluru.  Instead of watching it from the sunrise viewing area we all decided to do the 3 hour (9km) base walk around Uluru. This way we got to see the sunrise and the colours on the rock and walk around Uluru. As you can see from the picture Uluru isnt one flat surface there were lots of different formations to look at.
