Deb's Adventures
This morning we all got up and went back to Emilio's for breakfast. Yep. It's that good. After breakfast we visited a couple of shops and then headed back to the house to lounge by the pool until our shuttle came to take us to a sunset sail.
At 1:30 a van showed up at the house and took us to the Quepos Marina. We boarded a 49 foot trimaran with only 12 other people and headed out in search of dolphins. Our crew was amazing. Super friendly and always right there with rum drinks and cervazas. We headed out along the coast and it did not take long to catch up to some dolphins. We were the first boat on sight so we got the best show. After the dolphins headed back out to sea we sailed to a snorkel spot. The snorkeling wasn't great but the boat had a slide and a high dive that were super fun. We swam and enjoyed the 87 degree water for a while.
After we all were back on board we were served a delicious fish dinner and slowly sailed back towards the marina while we watched the sun sink into the sea. It was a beautiful day in Costa Rica.
When we returned home we decided to have a swim in the pool. We have a pet praying mantis that hangs out with us in the evenings. He's not very bright and bangs into stuff and keeps flying into the pool. He doesn't swim well so we have to keep fishing him out of the pool. Tonight he landed on the top of Ryan's water bottle.
We all headed to bed fairly early we are leaving the house at 7am tomorrow morning for a horseback riding trip through the jungle to a waterfall.
