Early start for taxi-plane-bus-taxi 800 miles by 11.00am. Busy morning.
We both laughed at the little wall mounted shower head set at Vietnamese height but didn't notice the massive shower head built into the ceiling. Promptly got soaked. Vietnamese plumbers 1, daft westerners 0.
Now in nha trang in a rather nice hotel with private beach access, pool, jacuzzi the usual. Went out around 11am and ended up in an Aussie bar called Booze Cruise, only went in because they had pulled pork sandwiches which were delicious. Had to take shelter in the bar until 3pm then headed back to the hotel very merry.
Back out at around 8pm for some more food and drinks. Went out with the best intensions to find a restaurant called Hush Hush but still don't know where it is. Ended up in a back street place and watched Russian tourists drink a bottle of vodka with their dinner. There are a lot of Russians in the resort and we are planning on trying some Russian food sometime over the next 8 nights.
