Final day in Patong. After a lazy day (again) by the pool we headed off to find a coffee shop with cakes for Yvonne. Big news!!!! the neighbours had a fight at 5:30am. Don't know what it was about as the shouting was all in Thai but the damage must be extensive as we heard glass and furniture being thrown around and broken. The best we can hope is the couple next door were having a major tiff, but we fear our neighbour had tried to renegotiate the price with a lady, who was throwing the strop. You have to be careful in this hotel as everything and I mean everything has a price....

Highlight (or lowlight depending on your interpretation) of today was a major power cut. We were sat in a bar and all the power right along the main road went out and stayed out for about an hour. Since our room is on the 7th floor of the hotel we decided that it was daft to go back to climb 7 flights of stairs to get to a dark and hot hotel room. Busy day, pool, coffee shop (to cool down in aircon), beach then back to the pool just in time for it to rain so ran back to the pool for a swim in the rain. For our evening entertainment we picked a bar in the centre of Soi Bangla and watched the tide of humanity go past.
