I was really looking forward to my next adventure, because it was somwhere I had not planned on going. I was trying to get a lift from Darwin to Broome via Wolf Creek. Now Wolf Creek the film showed me Broome and how beautiful it looked, plus I wanted to see the massive crater in the middle of nowhere. Alas it was not to be, the Roads were shut due to it being wet season, so I had to fly to Broome. Luckily the German girls and Lior were heading there too, so I had a base. Now my first impression, well the airport is funny as, it has two little huts that say teminal one and two on them. I just wish I could’ve got a picture but airport security wouldn’t let me...boring people!Welsome to western Australia, the sign said, my last state to see.Broome is so cut off from the rest of australia, its a 24 hour greyhound trip from Exmouth or Darwin, and never used to have an actual sealed road. I was staying at Cable Beach, renownd to be one of the nicest beaches in Australia. Who do I see the second I get there, Princess Marie (the German girl) lying in the pool sunning herself. So i joined her, and chilled there for most of the afternoon. Did get to meet a mad Canadian girl called Shannon, who is here until I leave also, Tanja and Marie left the next day and Lior arrived. That night we took a case of beer and visited the beach for the night. It was beautiful, the sunset was unbelievable, no joke. The sun sets into the sea and the colours in the sky are like nothing I have ever seen before, Pinks, reds, blues. Even at night in the pitch black you can hear the sea directly in front of you and its really peaceful. Shannon cooked a BBQ for us that night something she liked to refer as the Sausage fest! Funny Girl. We then visited the local pub for a couple where we met another Frenchie (who was awesome!). Only problem with Broome, well everything shuts at midnight. Bummer. We did have another moment that night at about 4am we were hit by a tropical storm, the rain was amazing, pouring like you would never believe. I love this place.
