So arrival in Perth. I was really not too happy that I had to leave Broome, since I loved it there so much, but alas I had to move on. Tanja and Marie were now both in Perth and I was looking forward to seeing them. I have become quite good friends with them both and would hopefully be travelling Southern Western Australia with them also.

I got to Perth very late, and Tanja waited up for me. Was great to see her!, but a bit too late to go out. So I had to settle in a 10 bed dorm at 1am with everyone asleep.

Forgot how much fun this kindof stuff could be. Anyhow morning came and I went to explore Perth with Tanja. Its beautiful! A really clean, friendly city with some great shopping and walks. Its weird it all being so close to christmas now as well, christmas in the 30 degree heat.. weird experiece seeing a massive christmas tree with the sun blazing behind it! There a little english shopping mall as well which was so cool. My highlight in Perth was Kings Park, its huge and some some gorgeous views of the city.

I met up with Marie and we walked to the summit! Really a nice city. Marie is leaving us now, to work in a pub north of Perth for a while, so Tan and I decided to rent a car with the little money we had left and travel the South, including a trip to Ajahn Brahms monestry (Monkle).
