So our time in Samui is coming to a close now. Its not been the most amazing Island I have ever been too, but it certainly has its memories. So from the last update, well we have adopted Alice - which would've been a great thing, if Stewie boy hadn't fallen head over heels in love with the poor girl! Yes - how awkward has that been? I'll get back to that later. We have hired a jeep for 2 days while here, and cruised around the Island - seeing the temples, Buddha statues, secluded beaches, crazy drivers and best of all rainforest tracks. One of them we stopped at just happen to have elephant rides - which were so cool - our one was called Nelly! Of course, and you would've laughed your arse off, when I nearly fell off the giant creature! Not funny… We did a huge hike to some spring waterfalls and pools, it was only around 2pm, but with the sun as hot as it was, it felt like miles and miles. Once there we were all so boiling, it was straight off with the clothes and into the pools. This was unbelievably stunning, little waterfalls everywhere, ranging from a foot to over 8 feet all cascading into little deep pools of spring water. You could use the falls as a slide, bathe in the pools, or simply climb up the rocks and never see the end of these falls. Simply gorgeous - definitely the highlight of Samui. With the water slowly flowing from one pool to the next with thick jungle all around and not one sign of civilisation - I felt pure happiness again! This was a tourist spot waiting to happen. Simply gorgeous. We have also been out a few times, mainly to Choweng, which is defiantly where the parties happen. I even went for a swim in the pool one night at a club… ha! I don't think Danny has ever been this happy in his life. The place I couldn't remember was called the New Hut… - brilliant little hostel - locals are really friendly too!As for the whole Alice story - well she hasn't been very well for a couple of days, and we have been bringing her supplies. She is so sweet. But the way Stewie leached over her all the time, made me remember why I love to travel alone. It was not only embarrassing, but pretty hard on her too. As for my initial thought of her, well I just had to grin and bear it - mainly because there is no point in upsetting the group with less than a week to go. She is still with us though, although I think she may erupt at Stewie any day now, if he doesn't leave her alone… British boys hey!Well Danny and I are still all good - oh we did have a great night out with a random couple we met in the morning - I don't think I have ever been that drunk… he was a serious drinker and it took all of my effort to keep up - even Danny struggled, Kelly and … my god what is going on with my memory? - Great night though! I remember dancing from the second I got into the club, to the closing moments, and then going on, with some random's to another late night club, got home at 5am.So its off to Phangan for the last few days at our 5 star resort… can't wait for that! I really don't wanna come home - do you think Singapore Airlines may switch my ticket and I could go to Australia?
