Its day one in Koh Phangan, and my god did we score big here. The place we are staying in is in Parriya Yuan, which is around the coast from Haad Rin (the full moon party beach). Its gorgeous! I mean totally and utterly a paradise. The only way to access this place is by boat, or 4x4 which I have been told is a complete life and death experience… think I'll stick to the boats thanks. Well we couldn't get into our resort when we arrived due to strong tides that would've destroyed the longboat! So they dropped us next door… and oh my god was that a fuss. A certain Canadian through a hissy fit that we had to walk about a mile to our resort - this is why I am not travelling with people I don't know that well again! Danny and I would've been in the pool sipping cocktails by now! Anyhow we hiked it in the end, through little resorts - one called the Sanctuary which looks very cool and hippyish! The beauty of this side of Ko Phangan is that its completely secluded, with a gorgeous beach and some great little eating houses. And then our resort - how plush was this - around £35 a night was well worth it, our room was huge! Danny had a huge double bed while I had the comfiest bed I have slept in weeks! There was a gorgeous beach right outside and a pool - a gorgeous pool! I am so in heaven. Alice travelled with us to Koh Phangan even after all the stalking! And it hasn't stopped either - which is beginning to get on my rag… She is a lovely girl and I will see her when I get home - I know but the sleazing and following around like a love sick puppy is getting seriously annoying! Note to self travel with Danny and Paul only! My god I can't stop thinking about our villa, its on a cliff looking down to the crystal clear ocean, with some funky bars either side! This is going to be perfectAnyhow we are chilling here today, pool, sun, and cocktails, maybe a massage later - ha jealous much?And the moon party tomorrow which means buckets galore!
