So we have been in Koh Samui for a few days though - Dan is loving it mainly because he gets to sleep, eat and drink - the few essentials that keep an Otto creature alive and in good spirits. Well Lamai is suppose to be the nicest beach on Samui and honestly I could see it, if it wasn't riddled with litter - its everywhere, from Bin bags, to condoms… really not nice. The hostel itself is nice, air conned and family run which is cool. We have however found a very cool little hostel just down from ours called - the name eludes me and I was only there this morning... Anyhow it's a small hostel, with triangular beach huts actually on the beach , with a massive decking with a restaurant and bar.. All nights so far have started there J, and probably will continue to start there.I am pretty drunk now and it cost me - less than £10 and that includes food…Its got good cheap food and a good fun crowd too. God what is it called? That is really going to bug me…Anyhow the beauty of this place, was not only its cheap good food and alcohol, but the fact it was separated by a rickety bridge. Every day this bridge would be in a different position - it was crazy (obviously the bridge didn't move but the stream did!). One day it was swamped in water and the next it was only half way over the stream - and seemed pointless because as you got to the end of it you'd have to wade to the bank - so cool!Anyhow we have walked Lamai beach the whole way, and you can see that it used to be stunning, before huge tourism hit it, and been into town a couple of times, but apart from the food Lamai is not the place to party - its full of old sleazy men! Yuk!Anyhow I have been told the party capital is Choweng where we are headed in a minute. So the single boys earlier today (all of us) were sitting in the bar, chilling out eating and drinking! When in walked this leggy blonde bombshell… seriously my Thai Green Curry nearly fell out of my mouth, it was open so far! She was gorgeous. But as we were chatting and well being lads she disappeared! Gutted! So we walked into town across the beach , and explored a little more.. heading back to the same bar for lunch - and who was sitting just opposite us - yes the blonde - wow!So Stu drew the short straw and went over to say hey - she actually was not only gorgeous, but nice too - who knew that could happen? And from Northampton - wonders never cease. We also met a whole group of English lads, and Aussie girls there the same day, so tonight is going to be really good! Gotta go do my make up…. laters
