So from Whale Island it was the final stage to Saigon...via sleeper train, not before a Mexican dinner and Internet use. The Train was again quite comfortable but my burnt back didn't help. This was only a 9-hour journey though and it flew by. So we arrived in Saigon, a bustling metropolis by Vietnam standards and even more mopeds than Hanoi. Enroute we went on the stretch known as Ocean Pass, the Sea just looked so inviting, these were the Beaches where the first American Troops landed. So Vietnam...what can I say... It's absolutely the most amazing place I have ever had the privilege of visiting. Now you all thought I liked China...well this place is now my favourite.
