Made it to Milan! Long long day of flying (16 hours in airports and up in the air) but both flights actually landed early. Pissing down rain right now but the weather gods were kind and waited til 8 pm. Milan, and it's people are beautiful and fun loving. I somehow got a personal tour of a new restaurant next to the famous Duomo church by Francesca, who would have been the future Mrs. Marlatt if I met her 20 years ago. Going there for dinner on my last night in Italy. Took a rooftop, interior, and archeological tour of the third largest church in the world. Amazing beauty and history there . Also, I apparently will be on some YouTube video made by some Italian college students by saying hello to one of their colleagues, who from what I could understand is either very I'll, or, is in Pantagonia...or both !! Story to be told when I return.
