Hit the ruins of Pompeii on a very rainy day. The place is enormous! It's kind of interesting how it works. After you enter, they have guides who declare what language they provide a tour in, the length of the tour and the cost depends on how many people he can recruit. Two British guys and myself decided to go for it and he was able to recruit three Russians after about ten minutes. Our guides name was Rafaele Russo and his animated personality, plus knowledge of the site made it well worth 10 euros. Remarkable how sophisticated and advancd the people if Pompeii were.
