Last night of my trip, hanging out with the upper crust in Milan! Story when I get back.

Since this is Milan and it's the fashion capital of Europe, you would expect shoes everywhere, but how about these: all are made of pure chocolate! Found at la Rinascente Food Market, probably the most eye-popping good and candy store I've ever seen!

Made it to Milan! Long long day of flying (16 hours in airports and up in the air) but both flights actually landed early. Pissing down rain right now but the weather gods were kind and waited til 8 pm. Milan, and it's people are beautiful and fun loving. I somehow got a personal tour of a new restaurant next to the famous Duomo church by Francesca, who would have been the future Mrs. Marlatt if I met her 20 years ago.
