Father's Day 3rd of September
Day 57- GHD
Early morning I wake up to the sound of Lotte rolling around in bed, I sit up straight and so does she we say our good morning but we are on a mission. 6:00am and we start breakfast, tastedotcom is my first option, chocolate chip pancakes, scrambled eggs and smoothies for everyone. With Lotte on the pan, I am mixing and blending yummy food testing it just to make sure it is edible, well now the eggs are not because I just poured all the salt (the whole jar) in to them, as I scoop out spoonfuls of salt I say "it will be alright". "It getting cold, you have to get up!" we say to Mum who is STILL IN BED!! We give the dads presents which takes sooo long and by the time we get out side the food is COLD!!!!! We get out side and the food was sooo good but maybe it was because we were all really hungry. We get ready to go to Karijini, Lotte, Olivia, Matilda and I are in the back and Mum and Fidge are in the front we try to over take Tim in his car but they are road hogs so instead we annoy them with the walki talkie. We are going to stay in the Karanjini eco retreat. We get to Karijini and have a quick lunch then we start our trek to circular pool (Dales Gorge). When we arrive we are all really hot but Circular Pool is way too cool to swim In. So we head Fern Pool (via Fortescue Falls) making sure Matilda doesn't fall over on the rocks. We stop at a little gorge and jump off the tree and into the water. Then we walk to Fern pool and when we get there the water is sooo warm, as we put our feet into the water they get nibbled by the fish that live is in the water. We all swim to the waterfall except for mum who is still on the platform, we sit under the waterfall it is so warm.
We get back to the retreat and freshen up for dinner. We make our way over to the restaurant, we tell funny stories and jokes which leave everyone in tears of laughter. After a delicious dinner I take the little kids back to the cabins to play uno then we talk and go to bed.
